PRACTICAL GUIDE
Set up salon booking by testing one complete appointment.
Start with a service you understand well and a small, controlled test. The purpose is to check what a client sees and what the team receives before a public launch. This walkthrough describes the NEXIS workflow; exact screen labels may change.

Is this the right workflow for you?
For a salon launching individual online appointments. Use a sample customer and avoid putting unnecessary personal or treatment information in test records.
Follow the setup and decision checklist
Prepare the service information
Write the name, price, duration and a short explanation of the appointment. Decide whether a client needs a consultation before treatment. Prepare a contact route for exceptions rather than forcing every request into the same service.
Configure the schedule and public page
Set the relevant service, opening hours and staff availability. Review the Business Link on a phone: check the business identity, service description and booking route. Keep payment and cancellation arrangements visible through your published process.
Book as a customer and inspect as the team
Open the public booking page, choose the service and available time, then submit a sample booking. In the workspace, verify the appointment, customer record and staff assignment. Check the time and duration instead of stopping at a success screen.
Launch with a clear operating routine
Tell the team how to review new appointments and own follow-up. Share the tested link in your chosen channels. If using WhatsApp reminders, configure the channel, consent and approved templates with an active paid subscription, then test delivery separately.

TEST THE COMPLETE JOURNEY
See what your team receives after the customer acts.
Use a sample enquiry or appointment in your workspace. Check the customer record, internal schedule and next task. Verify external messages and CRM transfers in the connected service itself.

An operational example to evaluate in your trial, not a customer case study or a promise of results.
Without a connected process
A public link is shared as soon as the page looks complete, before anyone checks the appointment and customer record it creates.
With the NEXIS workflow
The team has followed a sample client journey, reviewed its internal result and agreed how to handle questions, changes and follow-up before sharing the link.
Check before you launch
- Verify service name, price, duration and time on the customer and team sides.
- Check that your contact route works for a client who is unsure which treatment to choose.
- Tell customers how changes, cancellations and payment are handled; online payment collection is not included.
- Keep a written launch checklist and repeat it after material service or availability changes.
Questions about this workflow
Should I publish all services at once?
Use a representative service first so you can check the full workflow. Add other services once their duration, availability and customer instructions are clear.
Why test from a phone?
Customers may arrive from a social profile or QR code. Checking the public page and booking flow on a phone helps you assess the actual path they use.
Can I test automatic WhatsApp reminders on the trial?
Trial accounts do not send automated WhatsApp reminders. Configure and test that separate workflow with an active paid subscription and the required channel setup, consent and approved templates.
