NEXIS BUSINESS OS

Studio appointments with preparation and follow-up in view.

A photography or creative studio session needs more than a time slot. Clients need to understand the session, the team needs preparation time, and someone needs to own the next action. NEXIS brings individual bookings, customer records and team tasks into one workspace.

7-day trial. Starter $49.99 USD/month after the trial. AI usage is billed separately.

Is this the right workflow for you?

For individual sessions and consultation appointments. Multi-room inventory, equipment reservation, group capacity, memberships and recurring class management are not established features of this offer.

How the workflow works

  1. Describe a bookable session

Separate a planning consultation from a production session. Publish a clear duration and service description. Explain what is included and how clients should contact you about custom work before booking.

  2. Review resources outside the appointment slot

Check your people, room and equipment arrangements before confirming how you will use the system. A staff appointment does not by itself reserve a camera, recording booth or shared studio room.

  3. Connect the appointment with preparation

Review the submitted booking and customer record. Assign preparation work to a team member and keep the next action visible. Use your agreed secure process for transferring large files or confidential briefs.

  4. Keep completion separate from delivery

After the session, track the next task, such as contacting the client about delivery. NEXIS is not presented here as a digital asset management, editing or client-proofing platform.

A proposed workflow change

An operational example to evaluate in your trial, not a customer case study or a promise of results.

Without a connected process

A session is booked in a message, while equipment checks and preparation reminders are scattered across separate notes.

With the NEXIS workflow

The online booking is visible in the internal schedule and linked to a customer record. Team tasks describe what needs to happen around it; specialist resource and delivery systems remain separate where needed.

Check before you launch

  • Book one sample consultation and one sample session. Review both on a phone and in the team workspace.
  • Test competing bookings before launch and document your resource-checking process.
  • Publish payment and cancellation arrangements separately. Online deposits are not currently collected by NEXIS.
  • Do not offer group-capacity booking or recurring classes on the basis of this individual-appointment workflow.

Questions about this workflow

Can I use this for photography consultations?

The individual appointment workflow can support a consultation service with a configured duration and availability. Test the resulting appointment and customer record with your own setup.

Does a booking reserve studio equipment?

No equipment-reservation capability is claimed here. Keep equipment and room checks in an appropriate process and verify specialist requirements before switching systems.

Can clients upload creative assets through this workflow?

This page does not promise a client file-upload or proofing workflow. Use your established file-sharing process and make the next step clear to the client.
