NEXIS BUSINESS OS
From consulting enquiry to a prepared discovery meeting.
A booked discovery call is the beginning of a consulting relationship, not a signed engagement. NEXIS connects a public introduction, enquiries and appointments with customer records so your team can prepare a meeting and organise the next step.
7-day trial. Starter $49.99 USD/month after the trial. AI usage is billed separately.
Is this the right workflow for you?
For consultants and small advisory teams booking individual meetings. Keep contracts, professional advice, sensitive client documents and project delivery in appropriate systems; this workflow does not replace those controls.
How the workflow works
Define the purpose of the appointment
Describe who the meeting is for, its duration and what the prospect should expect. Make it clear whether it is an introductory conversation or an existing-client appointment. Avoid presenting a free discovery call as a paid consulting service.
Choose enquiry or direct booking
If you need to assess fit first, give the prospect a contact route on the Business Link. If the service is suitable for direct booking, share the booking link. Ask only for information you need for the next step.
Prepare from the customer record
Review the submitted appointment and customer details in NEXIS. Assign a preparation or follow-up task to the team. A calendar entry alone does not mean a proposal has been agreed, so keep the status and next action explicit.
Continue in your sales process
If you use Pipedrive, an authorised and activated connector can send new enquiries and booking activities there. Check a test record in both systems before relying on it. Proposal creation, payment and historical CRM migration are outside this connector flow.

TEST THE COMPLETE JOURNEY
See what your team receives after the customer acts.
Use a sample enquiry or appointment in your workspace. Check the customer record, internal schedule and next task. Verify external messages and CRM transfers in the connected service itself.

An operational example to evaluate in your trial, not a customer case study or a promise of results.
Without a connected process
Meeting details, enquiry context and the promised follow-up live in separate messages, making handover dependent on memory.
With the NEXIS workflow
The submitted booking and customer record provide a shared starting point. A named team member owns the next task; an optional Pipedrive connection passes supported new events into the sales process.
Check before you launch
- Test both a new enquiry and a direct booking; they represent different stages of interest.
- Check the meeting time and communicate any external meeting link through your agreed process. Automatic video-meeting creation is not promised here.
- Do not assume Google Calendar or Outlook synchronisation. Review the NEXIS internal schedule alongside any external calendar.
- Use a sample enquiry to confirm Pipedrive person, lead and follow-up task creation after activation.
Questions about this workflow
Will booking a call create a consulting contract?
No. A booking records an appointment. Agree scope, fees and contractual terms separately before starting paid work.
Can I keep using Pipedrive?
Yes, the connector supports a one-way flow of supported new NEXIS enquiries and bookings to an authorised Pipedrive account after activation. It is not a two-way database synchronisation.
Does the trial prove every integration works for my account?
No. Use the trial to test the core workflow, and verify each external integration with the required permissions and configuration. WhatsApp automated reminders require an active paid subscription.
