NEXIS BUSINESS OS

Customer records that give each appointment context.

A calendar answers when a meeting happens. A customer record helps your team understand who it is with and what should happen next. NEXIS connects submitted bookings with customer records and gives the team a shared place to organise follow-up.

7-day trial. Starter $49.99 USD/month after the trial. AI usage is billed separately.

Is this the right workflow for you?

For service teams that need customer context around enquiries and appointments. Review your requirements separately if you need specialist regulated records, complex sales forecasting or a migration of an existing CRM database.

How the workflow works

  1. Start with a real customer action

A submitted booking creates a customer record in the NEXIS workflow. A visit to your public Business Link alone is not a booking, customer or sale. Keep those events distinct when judging demand.

  2. Check identity and appointment details

Review the name, contact details and appointment information. Establish a team process for spotting repeated contacts rather than assuming every similar name is the same person or promising automatic deduplication.

  3. Give the next action an owner

Turn an agreed follow-up into a team task. Use a concrete action such as preparing for a consultation or contacting a client after a visit. The useful outcome is a clear handover, not simply a larger contact list.

  4. Define the boundary with your external CRM

Pipedrive receives supported new NEXIS events after authorisation and activation. The connector does not backfill historical records, overwrite existing Pipedrive contact fields or mirror your database in both directions. Decide which system owns each part of the process.

TEST THE COMPLETE JOURNEY

See what your team receives after the customer acts.

Use a sample enquiry or appointment in your workspace. Check the customer record, internal schedule and next task. Verify external messages and CRM transfers in the connected service itself.

A proposed workflow change

An operational example to evaluate in your trial, not a customer case study or a promise of results.

Without a connected process

The team can see a diary entry but needs to search several conversations to work out the next step.

With the NEXIS workflow

The booking and customer record are available in the workspace, with a team task for follow-up. A supported external CRM flow can carry new events onwards after it is configured and tested.

Check before you launch

  • Create a sample booking and verify the customer record that appears.
  • Repeat the test with your normal contact details format and review how your team will handle existing customers.
  • Agree which customer information belongs in NEXIS and which belongs in another system.
  • Use privacy-aware test data and remove it through your normal account process when the test is complete.

Questions about this workflow

Is customer management the same as online booking?

No. Booking captures a service appointment and time; customer management gives the team a record and context for the relationship. NEXIS connects these parts of the workflow.

Will all old Pipedrive contacts appear in NEXIS?

No. The published Pipedrive connector is one-way from NEXIS and does not backfill historical contact databases.

Does opening my business page create a customer record?

No. Browsing is not a submitted booking or a confirmed customer action. Do not count page views as customers.
